What the iTero Digital Scanner does for our patients
- Not only does the iTero Element 5D Digital Scanner provide highly accurate 3D digital images of your teeth and gums, but it also allows us to create outcome simulations for Invisalign treatment and show you how your treatment is progressing.
- The iTero Element 5D uses Near-Infrared Imaging (NRI) technology, which lets us detect and monitor those hard-to-find cavities between teeth, making it possible to intervene sooner and avoid the need for extensive treatment.
- We also use the iTero Element 5D to make 3D impressions, which means no sticky, goopy dental putty. Digital impressions are much more accurate and can be used in a variety of treatments, including Invisalign®, dentures, bridges, implants, and more.
