The 3D Printing Process
With 3D printing, we use computer aided design (CAD) to create patient-specific digital models on the screen that we print out using non-toxic, biocompatible materials. This is the same technology that professional dental laboratories use to manufacture dental appliances and models, but since we can do it directly in the office — eliminating the need for an outside lab — we have what we need to complete your treatment the same day rather than waiting several weeks for the outside lab to finish your case.
