What To Expect During Your First Visit To Velle Dental
Are you new to our dental family and will be having your first visit soon? At Velle Dental, we have gone the extra mile to ensure the comfort of our patients. Our staff wants to ensure your comfort and wants you to know that we are sensitive to any needs you may have. The First Visit is All About You
Your first visit to our office is all about your comfort, happiness, and health. We request that you promptly fill out the patient registration form that we send via email. This helps ensure a seamless experience. Using the forms you completed, we will review your dental and medical history. You may not realize it, but certain medications and medical conditions will change the way we approach your dental care. It may also make you prone to certain oral health concerns that we will check for regularly.
As you saw in the video, during your first visit, we will give you a thorough, comprehensive exam and take X-rays of your teeth and mouth. Dr. Bartish will then meet with you to review your X-ray results and create an individualized treatment plan if necessary. He will also go over any concerns you have with your oral health, answer all of your questions, and talk about the improvements you would like to make to your smile.
Routine Visits are Important
The American Dental Association recommends routine hygiene examinations every six months (at minimum) to ensure optimal oral health. During routine appointments, we not only thoroughly clean your teeth, but we also inspect them, your gums, and your mouth to check for any concerns or issues. If we notice anything concerning, we recommend immediate treatment to prevent further complications.
